I met mom and dad eight months ago in this tiny room. I don’t know why they were so excited to meet me, but they kept petting me and calling me cute (which I already knew, duh!) I was more excited about smells and sounds I could hear beyond the doors. I asked them if they would bring me out there, and they did! I’ve had an adventure every day since.
I really love the morning walks we take around the neighborhood where I get to wake up all the other dogs, it’s kinda my job. Mom calls it barking. What can I say? I like to yap. I wake up very early at 5:30am so I can talk to the squirrels from my front window. I also do this to wake up mom and let her know that the day is started and we’re not gonna waste it by sleeping.
We used to live in what I call “the shoebox“ where I could only go outside on a leash. On my birthday mom and dad brought me to this big house with a giant backyard! It’s been my home ever since.
We had to be in the car for a really long time to get there. They say my new home is called Texas. Its my favorite. I have a big tree full of squirrels and my favorite blue ball and I even have a pool to play in! OMG and I can never forget bear bear. They say it’s just a stuffed animal, but it’s so much more than that to me. I also have piggy, ducky and moose, but bear is definitely my favorite. Well, mom says I need to wrap this up because I’m yapping too much so I guess I’ll leave you with this. Thank you for giving me my parents and my forever home. Don’t tell them I said it (it will go to their heads), but I love them very much! I am so grateful and happy that they found me! They were the missing peace to my puzzle.
