1,000 Paws of Great Falls – Misty

“When we adopted Misty we had to be careful with her around kids because of her negative experience with a previous family. We cautioned our own grandkids to give her space, and over time she changed to relate to them with gentleness and patience. We’re still cautious but now we can trust her not to snap at children. Misty takes on the job of greeter at the dog parks we take her to and welcomes new friends-while reminding the boys of what behavior is proper.

 She always gets a good report card when we have to board her. She loves her toys and invites people and dogs to play with her. Misty enjoys her walks, especially in the snow.  She likes to watch all kinds of animals at our place and lets them know our house is her territory. She’s up for car rides, even for long trips because she’s always ready for fresh scenery and new adventures. She’s the perfect companion for us because she likes to play and she appreciates her down time for rest.
