1,000 Paws of Great Falls – Raja

“My daughter Sawyer attended one of the offered kids’ camps and was absolutely in love with the cats! She had wanted a cat for a while at that point, but I’m allergic to them, so I was avoiding it! I visited with the staff while she was busy at camp and shared that I would love to surprise her, and they were fabulous at having me meet a few and helping us find the perfect match! The last day of camp we took Sawyer in a meet and greet room and asked if she would like Raja. She said “Yes, but I know we can’t,” so we surprised her with telling her that Raja was hers!

We adopted Raja when she and Sawyer were both 5 years old… Fast forward 4 years- Adopting Raja is the best decision we’ve made! She is such an amazing pet. It took her a few months to warm up, and she still hides when we have company, but for us she is the most cuddly, loving, quirky kitty!

If Sawyer is crying, Raja comes running instantly to jump up and lick her tears. She’s almost like an untrained therapy cat! If you kiss Raja’s little forehead, she kisses you back on your forehead. And the best is that she waits each morning and night for a GLASS of water! That’s right, she’s high class and only drinks from a glass!
