Become a Volunteer

We thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. We rely on our dedicated volunteers to care for the hundreds of animals who come through our doors each year.
  • Volunteers must be at least ten (10) years or older to volunteer at the Center. Youth (ages 10 – 15) MUST be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian at all times.
  • Youth (ages 16-17) are allowed to volunteer without supervision. However, a parent or legal guardian must be present if the youth wishes to be around dogs.
  • Adults (ages 18+) may help with all volunteer opportunities at the Center. Volunteers must be approved by a staff member before being able to handle dogs.
